Q. What is annual service for gas appliances? It includes but is not limited to:
- Go through the entire combustion system, a 14 point inspection
- Clean glass and blowers
- Repaint fireboxes and burners
- Vacuum out any dust or debris inside and outside the entire unit
- Stage the rocks, wood, “look and feel of the fire”
- Check operation safety, efficiency, look for gas leaks and/or carbon monoxide leaks
COST: $99- if performed between, February 1st-September 30th OR
$180- if performed between, October 1st-January 31st
Q. What is annual service for Wood appliances? It includes but is not limited to:
- A certified and insured chimney professional to handle the job
- Offer 3 different level of service:
- Basic sweep & Level 1 Inspection @ $130
- Basic sweep and Level 2 Inspection @ $195
- Basic sweep and Level 3 Inspection @ charge upon assessment
- Level 2 Inspection only (insurance & new homeowners)
Basic and Level 1: (included but not limited to)
- Check chimney and flue
- Remove combustible deposits or blockage
Basic and Level 2: (includes but not limited to)
- All in level 1 plus, verify chimney structure and all enclosed flues, size and suitability. Video scan.
- Remove all combustible deposits or blockage in flue AND all accessible areas
Basic and Level 3: (includes but not limited to)
- All listed above in Level 1 and 2, plus all concealed areas of the chimney structure. Video scan and removal of parts of the chimney or building as needed to gain access to specific areas (if required).
- Inspect entire contents of chimney for suspected damage or malfunction.
Level 2 Inspection only: (insurance companies, new homeowners, concerns)
- Inspection of all exterior and interior areas, including crawl space and attics
- Video scan of entire flue and inner surfaces
- Excellent for insurance inspection, new homeowners, concerns and maintenance needs. NO Sweeping is included.
